Dr. Zhen Chen is an assistant researcher at the Institute of Farmland Irrigation, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He graduated from the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences in July 2013 with a master’s degree in engineering. From the same year to date, he has been working at the Institute of Farmland Irrigation, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. In September 2015, he started studying for a doctorate degree at the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He mainly engages in research on new efficient irrigation technologies and precision irrigation. Since he started working, he has participated in projects such as the “National Science and Technology Support Program”, the Ministry of Agriculture’s industry special projects, and the 13th Five-Year National Key R&D Program. He won second prize of the Henan Science and Technology Progress Award (the tenth finisher). He has published more than ten papers and obtained nearly ten patents.
