Honghua Hu completed her Ph.D. study in Molecular Microbiology from the University of Sydney. She is currently a Principal Investigator at the Jinhua Institute of Zhejiang University. She also serves as an Honorary Research Fellow at the Macquarie Medical School. She has 20 years of biology lab experience in translational clinical research and achieved over 90 scientific publications in the following areas: bacterial biofilms and microbiome in medical devices, breast implant-associated anaplastic large-cell lymphoma, surgical infection prevention and control, dry-surface biofilm characterization and removal, molecular insight into diabetic foot infections, combination therapy of bacterial biofilms in chronic wounds, cystic fibrosis lung infections, and host–pathogen interactions.
