Dr. Antonio Stecco is a physiatrist with a study focus devoted to the human fasciae from a macroscopic, histological and physio-pathological perspective. He earned his medical and PhD degrees at the University of Padova in Italy and is currently an Assistant Professor at Rusk Rehabilitation at New York University Langone.
He has taught courses across five continents on the Fascial Manipulation method and has been President of the Fascial Manipulation Association since 2010 as well as President of the International Myopain Society since 2020. Dr. Stecco also served as Assistant to the President of the International Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (from 2012 to 2014). He has co-authored five books as well as several chapters in international publications, as well as authoring over 50 papers on fascia extension.
