Dr. Shiqi Ou is a professor at the Future Technology College, South China University of Technology. He completed his doctoral studies in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Tennessee. He has published more than forty papers as first author or corresponding author in journals such as Nature Energy, Nature Communications, and Applied Energy. He is the chairperson of the Subcommittee on International Aspects of Transportation Energy and the Sustainability Committee of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAEs). He is also a member of the editorial boards of Transportation Research Part D: Transport and Environment and Transportation Research Record (TRR). His research directions include the transformation and prediction of the transportation energy industry, the application of artificial intelligence in transportation roads, the energy optimization of vehicles and energy storage systems, and the integration of transportation and energy, based on large models and big data.
