Prof. Abdolmajid Mohammadian is a Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Ottawa. He completed his BS.c., MS.c. studies at Sharif University of Technology and his Ph.D. studies in applied mathematics at Laval University. He is the former chair of the IAHR-IWA Joint Committee on Marine Outfall Systems. His research interests include the numerical simulation of water bodies and experimental and numerical modeling of marine outfall systems, computational fluid dynamics, desalination and industrial outfalls, sediment transport modeling, and renewable energy.
