Author Biographies

Dr. Yamina Haider is a veterinary doctor and holds a PhD in Agronomy with a specialization in Animal Production and Nutrition. She is currently a faculty member at M'hamed Bougara University in Boumerdes, Algeria, where she works in the Department of Agronomy within the Faculty of Sciences. Dr. Haider is also an active researcher in the Laboratory of Bioinformatics, Applied Microbiology, and Biomolecules (BMAB). Her research focuses on sustainable beekeeping, local honeybee traits, and the challenges of integrating ecological principles into natural resource management. She is actively involved in two PRIMA-funded projects, MEDIBEES and SafeAgroBee, as well as the COST Action project BeeSafeBeeHoney, which aim to advance sustainable apiculture and improve honeybee health and productivity. Dr. Haider has collaborated on numerous interdisciplinary projects and has contributed to national and international publications. She is a member of professional societies and has received recognition for her contributions to sustainable agriculture, apiculture, and biodiversity conservation. Her work continues to bridge veterinary science, agronomy, and apiculture, promoting innovative and sustainable solutions in the field.
