Prof. Francisco Jurado received M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED), Madrid, Spain, in 1995 and 1999, respectively. He is currently a Full Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Jaén, Spain. His research interests include power systems and renewable energy. He has been involved in research projects funded by Spanish Ministries and the European Commission. He is the researcher among the most influential in the world according to the classification made by Stanford University (USA).
