Jing Chen is a member of the Communist Party of China, and currently serves as an associate researcher and registered consulting engineer. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from the School of Urban Construction at Jiangxi Normal University, her master’s degree from the School of Geography and Environment at Jiangxi Normal University, and her doctoral degree from the Institute of Resource Zoning at the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. From March 2009 to September 2016, she worked at the Beijing Agricultural Information Technology Research Center, where she also completed two years of postdoctoral research. Since October 2016, she has been affiliated with the Institute of Agricultural Economics at the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Her primary research focuses on rural regional development and rural planning.
