Dr. Weiyi Zhang graduated from China University of Geosciences in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in materials science and engineering. From 2015 to 2020, he pursued consecutive master's and doctoral degrees in materials science and engineering at China University of Geosciences. From July 2020 to January 2023, he worked as an assistant researcher and master's supervisor at the Institute of New Materials, Shandong Academy of Sciences. From January 2023 to now, he is working as an associate researcher in the Institute of New Materials, Shandong Academy of Sciences. His research interests include the utilization of solid waste resources and the study of technologies related to functionalized phase change energy storage materials.
Dr. Zhipeng Yuan received his B.S. degree in materials chemistry from the Department of Chemistry, Dezhou College, in 2012 and his M.S. degree in materials physics and chemistry from the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Shandong University of Architecture in 2020. He has been working as an assistant researcher in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Qilu University of Technology, since 2021. His research interests include preparation and structural modulation of biomass aerogel and solar interfacial evaporation water treatment technology.
Dr. Xibin Yi is currently a researcher in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Qilu University of Technology. He is the team leader of the aerogel metamaterials innovation team at the Institute of New Materials, Shandong Academy of Sciences, and also serves as the director of the Aerogel Branch of China Insulation and Energy Saving Materials Association and the secretary-general of the Insulation Materials Expert Committee of Shandong Silicate Society. In June 2011, he graduated from Nanjing University of Technology. He is mainly engaged in the basic research of aerogel nanomaterials in the international frontier field and the R&D of military materials. In recent years, he has presided over seven R&D projects at provincial and ministerial level or above, such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Shandong Province Doctoral Fund, the Shandong Province Science and Technology Development Plan, etc. He has applied for/authorized 10 national invention patents and published more than 20 academic papers.
