Prof. Dr. Dimitrios Galamatis graduated from the Veterinary School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1999. He received his Master’s Degree in Animal Production Science and his doctorate from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2003 and 2015, respectively. He is currently an assistant professor at the School of Animal Science, University of Thessaly. His research interests include husbandry (egg production, meat production, reproduction), farming systems (conventional or alternative, including organic systems), nutrition (including the use of alternative feed additives), reproduction, reproductive management, health (including preventive veterinary medicine), and the welfare of birds intended for the production of food of animal origin.
Prof. Dr. Nicolaos Theodossiou studied Civil Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he acquired his PhD. He is currently a professor at the Division of Hydraulics and Environmental Engineering and director of the Water Resources Engineering and Management Laboratory of the Department of Civil Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Vice President of the Department of Civil Engineering, AUTh. He is working on water resources management and the protection and restoration of the environment. His skills and expertise include water quality, environment, water resources management, hydrological modeling, water chemistry, environmental impact assessment, wastewater treatment, water and wastewater treatment, water treatment, and environmental pollution.
