Grzegorz Bartosz graduated in Biology (biochemistry) and
Physics from the University of Łódź, Poland (1971 and 1978, respectively).
Grzegorz Bartosz received his Ph.D. in Biophysics in 1977 (University of Łódź),
Dr. habilit. degree in 1982 (Jagiellonian University of Cracow) and the title
of Professor (granted by the President of Poland) in 1989. Grzegorz Bartosz has been
a visiting scientist at Texas A&M University, University of Dusseldorf,
University of Heidelberg, Macquarie University (Sydney), Catholic University of
Louvain-la-Neuve, Henri Poincaré University (Nancy), University of Debrecen,
University of Dundee, and the Institute of Chemical Physics (Moscow). Grzegorz
Bartosz is an ordinary professor at the University of Rzeszów. His
main research interests concern the generation and reactions of reactive oxygen
species, the mechanisms of action of antioxidants, the role of oxidative stress in the
aging of cells and organisms, membrane structure and transport, and ABC
multidrug transporters.
