Prof. Guining Lu received his Bachelor's, Master’s, and
Doctoral degrees from South China University of Technology in 2003, 2005, and
2008, respectively. He was a visiting scholar at Rutgers University from 2007
to 2008. He is a researcher at the School of Environment and Energy of South
China University of Technology and director of the Institute of Soil Pollution
Control and Remediation. He is an editorial board member of Environmental and
Sustainability Indicators and Processes, an associate editor of Frontiers in
Microbiology, and an editor of Eco-Environment & Health. His research
interests include structure–activity relationships of environmental behavior
and environmental activity of organic pollutants; ecological restoration of
water/soil polluted by heavy metals and organic matter; coordinated control and
restoration technology of electronic waste pollution; and pollution control of
rural and agricultural environments.
