Sorana Vătavu is an Associate Professor, PhD, at the Department of Finance, Business Information Systems and Modelling, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA), West University of Timișoara (WUT). She completed her doctoral and postdoctoral studies in the Finance field at the Doctoral School of Economics and Business Administration, WUT, after achieving a Master's in "Finance and Corporate Financial Strategies" at WUT, an Honors degree at the Robert Gordon University – Aberdeen Business School, and a Bachelor's in Finance and Banking at FEBA. Her leading research and teaching activities are developed within the finance field, focusing on corporate finance and corporate social responsibility strategies, public governance, taxation, welfare and sustainable development.
