Dr. Qiwei Wang, Master Supervisor, is currently an associate researcher at the Institute of Advanced Wear Resistant and Functional Materials, Jinan University, and the director of the Joint Laboratory of Remanufacturing Technology and Forming Materials, Jinan University. He won first prize in the Military Science and Technology Progress Award (ranked third), third prize in the Military Science and Technology Progress Award (ranked second), was named a high-level talent in military-civilian integration in 2018, and was awarded the third-class merit once. He received a bachelor's degree in metal pressure processing from the School of Materials and Metallurgy, Northeastern University, a master's degree in materials processing engineering from the School of Materials and Metallurgy, and a doctorate in materials science and engineering from the Department of Equipment Maintenance and Remanufacturing, Armored Forces Engineering Academy. From July 2000 to December 2017, he served as an engineer in the Air Force of the People's Liberation Army. From June 2013 to May 2018, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the State Key Laboratory of Remanufacturing Technology, Army Armored Forces Academy. He is mainly engaged in research on additive manufacturing and remanufacturing; equipment repair, strengthening, and surface protection; and metal powder material design and preparation.
