Dr. Chunlin Huang received the B.S. degree in
hydrogeology and engineering geology from Lanzhou University, Lanzhou, China,
in 2001, and studied remote sensing and hydrological data assimilation with the
Cold and Arid Regions Environmental and Engineering Research Institute, Chinese
Academy of Sciences, Lanzhou, and the Ph.D. degree in cartography and geography
information system from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2008. From 2009 to
2010, he was a Post-Doctoral Researcher with the Department of Civil and
Environmental Engineering, University of California at Los Angeles, Los
Angeles, CA, USA. He is currently a Researcher with the Northwest Institute of
Eco-Environment and Resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research
activities concern hydrological data assimilation, especially for snow and soil
moisture.
Dr. Tianwen Feng received the B.S. degree in
geographical information system and the M.S. degree in cartography and
geographical information system from Lanzhou Jiaotong University, Lanzhou,
China, in 2016 and 2019, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in cartography and
geographical information system from the Northwest Institute of Eco-Environment
and Resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Lanzhou, in 2023. He is currently a
Post-Doctoral Researcher at Lanzhou Jiaotong University. His research interests
include snow radiative transfer, synthetic aperture radar snow depth retrieval,
and lidar snow depth estimation.
