My full name is Alqarama Mahardhika Thalib. I received a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the Faculty of Dentistry, Hasanuddin University, Makassar, Indonesia, in 2016, and got my Master Hospital Administration degree in 2020. Then, I pursued a PhD at the School of Dental Science, China Medical University, Taichung, Taiwan. I have been working as a faculty member in the Department of Dental Material Science and Technology at the Faculty of Dentistry, Hasanuddin University, Makassar, Indonesia, since 2019. My research primarily focuses on Dental material science, particularly the application of natural substances as alternative materials in dentistry, and the investigation of color stability in restorative dental material.

My full name is Khanisyah Erza Gumilar, an obstetrician subspecializing in maternal–fetal medicine. I am a faculty member at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya, Indonesia I got my medical doctor degree, OB/GYN residency, and MFM subspecialist at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya, Indonesia. Then, I pursued advanced studies at the Graduate Institute of Biomedical Science, China Medical University, Taichung, Taiwan, where I deepened my expertise in biomedical science and translational research. I am interested in pregnancy complications such as preeclampsia, obstetric intensive care, and cardiovascular disease during pregnancy. I am also actively engaged in research that integrates artificial intelligence (AI) technologies into obstetric practice, cancer biology, and other translational sciences related to clinical care. In addition to my academic endeavors, I am involved in international collaborative research, including partnerships with multicenter institutions. I am also committed to community service, actively promoting reproductive health education, basic science translation research, and artificial intelligence in health care.

My research primarily focuses on infections in the soft tissues of the oral cavity

Dr. Shang-Ming Wang is a multidisciplinary dental and biomedical professional with a strong foundation in neuroscience and esthetic implant dentistry. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Universidad Cardenal Herrera CEU, followed by advanced clinical training in Esthetic Implant Dentistry at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He holds a Master’s degree in Neuroscience from Tzu Chi University and is currently a PhD candidate at the Neuroscience Institute of National Yang-Ming University. An international lecturer certified by the Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD) and a laser specialist with Mastership certifications from both ALD and EMLA, he also serves as a laser specialist under APLI. He holds leadership roles, including 5th Managing Supervisor of the Taiwan Academy of Minimally Invasive Dentistry (TIAMID) and Secretary General of the 2024 Asia Pacific Association for Laser Medicine and Surgery (APALMS). He is also a Clinical Application Specialist Physician affiliated with the International Society of Blood Biomaterials (ISBB) and the World Federation on Preventive and Regenerative Medicine (WFPRM), where he received a gold medal in 2024. Additionally, he is the Deputy Secretary-General of the Taiwan Extracellular Vesicle Medical Quality Promotion Association (TEMPA).

My name is Li-Rong Kuo. I graduated from the School of Dentistry at Taipei Medical University in 2022 and immediately started working in a clinic. I completed post-graduate general medical training in 2024. I am obtaining specializations from the Taiwan Implant Academy of Minimally Invasive Dentistry (TIAMID) and Taiwan Academy of Laser in Dentistry (TALD).

I am Fang-Yu Fan. I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Technology from Central Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taiwan, and my Master of Science degree in Oral Sciences from Chung Shan Medical University, Taiwan. I later pursued a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at National Taiwan University, Taiwan. Since 2011, I have worked at the School of Dental Technology, Taipei Medical University, where I started as a Lecturer. I was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2017, appointed as Associate Professor in 2021, and became Director of the School of Dental Technology, Taipei Medical University, in 2024. My research interests include medical education research, biomaterial scaffold fabrication techniques, and digital oral engineering technology.

My name is Chung-Ming Liu. I received my PhD in Engineering from Akita University, Japan, in 2000. I also received a PhD in Dentistry from the Health Sciences University of Hokkaido, Japan, in 2020. Since 2000, I have been teaching in the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering of the University of Science and Technology. In 2017 I transferred to the Department of Dentistry of China Medical University, Taiwan. In 2021, because the university established a new department, I became and am currently a professor at the Department of Biomedical Engineering at China Medical University. I also served as a reviewer for MDPI-related papers. My research fields include biomedical materials, surface modification of biomedical implants, and medical device development. Now, I am the visiting professor in the Department of Dentistry in the Health Sciences University of Hokkaido, Japan.
