I am a biologist specializing in statistical methods from the University of Veracruz (UV). I completed my Ph.D. in the Department of Landscape Ecology at the University of Göttingen, Germany. Subsequently, from 2017 to 2019, I conducted my postdoctoral research in the Laboratory of Evolutionary Macroecology of the Network of Evolutionary Biology at INECOL with the project «Identification of priority areas for conservation in central Veracruz.» In 2018, I was awarded the state youth award of Veracruz in the «Academic Merit» category. I am developing the research line called «Integrative Conservation of Biodiversity.» Its main objective is to implement actions that help address the significant environmental issues in Veracruz and Mexico. My areas of interest are biodiversity conservation, diversity patterns, numerical ecology, and spatial analysis. My projects and publications encompass works on diversity patterns along elevation gradients and anthropogenic disturbances, spatial prioritization analysis for conservation, biological conservation, and community and population ecology.
