Prof. Dr. Klaus Reichardt earned his degree in Agronomy from the University
of São Paulo in 1963, followed by a doctorate in Agronomy in 1965. He later
obtained a Ph.D. in Soil Science from the University of California in 1971.
Over the years, he became a full professor in Physics and
Meteorology at the University of São Paulo. He is a retired
senior full professor at the Center for Nuclear Energy in Agriculture (CENA) at
the University of São Paulo, Piracicaba, Brazil. His research spans multiple
