Alisson Mendes Rodrigues is a Visiting Materials Science
Professor at the Faculty of UnB Planaltina, University of Brasília. He holds a
degree in Chemistry Education from the State University of Maranhão (Brazil),
an MEng in Materials Engineering from the Federal Institute of Education,
Science and Technology of Maranhão (Brazil), and a D.Sc. in Materials Science
and Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos (Brazil). He
completed his doctoral internship at the University of California (USA) and
held post-doctoral positions at the University of Rostock (Germany) and the
University of São Paulo (Brazil). His research interests encompass Material
Characterization, Glass Science and Technology, Thin Films by PVD techniques,
Materials Science and Engineering, Materials for Sustainable Energy, and
Sustainable Manufacturing.
Míriam Cristina Santos Amaral is a Professor of Sanitary and
Environmental Engineering at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais Escola de
Engenharia. She was a Professor at Centro Federal de Educação Tecnólogica de
Minas Gerais from 2007 to 2009. She graduated in Engenharia Química from
Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2006), received her master’s in Civil
Engineering from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2007), and a doctorate in
Civil Engineering from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2009). She has
experience in Sanitary Engineering, acting on the following subjects:
lixiviado, bioreator a membrana, membranas, vinhoto and ultrafiltração.
