Roxana Elena Stoica is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences, Transilvania University of Brașov, and a PhD candidate in Psychology at the "Constantin Rădulescu-Motru" Institute of Philosophy and Psychology within the Romanian Academy.
Between 2022 and 2025, she served as a psychologist at the Counseling and Career Guidance Center of Transilvania University of Brașov.
In her role as a university assistant at the Faculty of Psychology, she engages in teaching activities and provides academic support to students enrolled in foundational psychology courses, with a particular emphasis on educational psychology. Her research interests center on educational psychology, with a focus on understanding the mechanisms through which students learn and develop within academic environments. Additionally, she is deeply committed to career counseling for adolescents, investigating the design and effectiveness of intervention programs aimed at enhancing self-awareness, informed decision-making, and career adaptability.
Oana Alina Bota PhD is a lecturer at the the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of Transilvania University of Brașov. Since 2021 she is the coordinator of the Counseling and Career Guidance Center of Transilvania University of Brașov. Her most relevant research interest include aspects related to resilience, learning and teaching practices, teachers training, career counseling for students, and factors and strategies to prevent students dropout. She is currently the coordinator of the project Equity for Disability in the university. This promotes accessibility and awareness of the need to include students with disabilities in UNITBV, which is intended to support the participation and access of students with disabilities in the educational process.
Ana-Maria Cazan is a Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences at Transilvania University of Brașov. She also serves as a PhD supervisor in the field of Psychology at the "Constantin Rădulescu-Motru" Institute of Philosophy and Psychology of the Romanian Academy.
Her research interests encompass learning and academic adjustment, well-being, and the applications of positive psychology in educational and organizational contexts, as well as the influence of online communication and collaboration tools on well-being and professional performance. These themes are reflected in the research and international cooperation projects she has coordinated, notably Digital Well-being in Higher Education and Who Succeeds at University? Cognitive and Non-Cognitive Predictors of (Mal)adjustment and Dropout Risk Among First-Year Students.
Professor Cazan is an active member of the Romanian College of Psychologists' Methodological Committee and serves as the Romanian representative to the Educational Psychology Committee of the European Federation of Psychology Associations.
