Prof. Dr Ljiljana Tadić Latinović is a pathologist and cytologist employed at the Department of Pathology of University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska (from 1998 to present). She earned an MD degree from the University of Banja Luka (1997). She completed her specialization in Pathology (2003) and subspecialization in Cytology (2013) at University of Novi Sad. She earned her PhD from the University of Belgrade (2008). She was elected as associate professor at the Medical Faculty in Banja Luka, University of Banja Luka, and re-elected in 2021. She is a member of the European Society of Pathologists and Serbian Society of Pathologists and Cytologists. She is an author or co-author of 61 publications. She is also an author of two chapters in two books and two monographs. Her topics of interest are gynecological pathology, cervical cytology, and pulmonary pathology.
Ljubinka Božić Majstorović, PhD, is a Specialist of Internal Medicine, Subspecialist of Rheumatology, Head of Department of Rheumatology at the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska, and Associate Professor at the Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Banja Luka. She earned an MD degree from the University of Banja Luka (1985) and completed her specialization in Internal Medicine at the University of Banja Luka (1995) and subspecialization in Rheumatology (1996). She has principal investigator experience, having participated in ˃5 studies with an indication of rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and systemic lupus erythematosus. She has published 32 papers in various journals and given several presentation/lectures. She is the Founder and First President of the Association of Rheumatologist of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Vladimir Mrđa is Specialist of Anesthesiology at the Clinic for Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He earned an MD degree from the University of Banja Luka (2010) and completed his specialization in Anesthesiology at the University of Banja Luka (2015). He is now in the process of writing his PhD thesis. He has published 12 papers in various journals. His research interests include intensive care and pain medicines. He is a Member of the Association of the Anaesthesiologist of Republic of Srpska, the European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, and the European Society of Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Therapy.
Bosa Mirjanić-Azarić, PhD, is an Associate Professor, EuSpLM, and Specialist in Medical Biochemistry at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Banja Luka, and the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She graduated in 1989 from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry at the University of Zagreb and in 1999 completed her specialization in Medical Biochemistry and passed the specialist exam at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Banja Luka. She obtained her Master’s degree in 2005 from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Banja Luka, and in 2014, she earned a PhD in Biomedicine, Clinical Biochemistry, and Laboratory Medicine from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Ljubljana. Additionally, in 2016, she achieved a subspecialization in Laboratory Endocrinology at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade. Since 2022, she has been an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Banja Luka, and since 2006, she has been employed at the University Clinical Center of Banja Luka, currently working in the Department of Laboratory Diagnostics. She is the Founder and First President of the Association of Medical Biochemists of the Republic of Srpska.
Irma Ovcina has been working since 2018 in the Department of Rheumatology at the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska and since 2023 as a internal medicine specialist. She is currently completing her subspecialization in Allergology and Clinical Immunology in Belgrade. She is in the process of writing her PhD thesis. She actively participates in the preparation of scientific papers and actively participates in world congresses. She is a member of the Association of the Rheumatologists of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Semir Vranic earned an MD degree from the University of Sarajevo (2004) and a PhD from the University of Zagreb (2012). He is currently an associate professor of pathology at the College of Medicine, Qatar University, Doha, Qatar, and a corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina. His work in molecular pathology has resulted in 250 peer-reviewed publications, eight books/book chapters, and 130 presentations/lectures. He is among the top 2% of scientists in the world (Stanford/Elsevier, 2021-2024). His research interests include molecular pathology, cancer biomarkers, and precision medicine.

Professor Dr. Snježana (Milan) Popović-Pejičić, a specialist in internal medicine and
subspecialist in endocrinology, was born in Banja Luka. She graduated with
distinction from the Faculty of Medicine in Sarajevo in 1980, University of Sarajevo diploma for outstanding academic achievement.
Her specialization in internal medicine was conducted partly at the Clinic for Internal
Diseases in Banja Luka and predominantly at the Internal
Medicine Clinic in Zagreb, Croatia. Dr. Popović-Pejičić completed postgraduate studies
in endocrinology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zagreb, in 1986/87, and
passed the subspecialization exam in endocrinology with distinction in 1988. She
defended her doctoral dissertation in 1999 at the
Faculty of Medicine, University of Banja Luka. At the same institution, she was
appointed as Assistant, Senior Assistant, Associate Professor (2000), Associate Professor
(2005), and Full Professor (2011). Since 2013, she has been the Head of the Department
of Internal Medicine. Prof. Popović-Pejičić is the founder and former president (2007–2021) and current
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association of Endocrinologists and
Diabetologists of the Republic of Srpska. Prof. Popović-Pejičić was elected a Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences
and Arts of the Republic of Srpska (ANURS) on December 22, 2022
