Prof. Behrouz Parsa Moghaddam is an assistant professor at the Department of Mathematics at Islamic Azad University, Lahijan, Iran. He obtained his PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Guilan in 2009. From 2017 to 2018, he was a Postdoctoral researcher at the University of Porto, Portugal. Prof. Behrouz Parsa Moghaddam’s research centers on computational techniques, fractional calculus, solid mechanics, and stochastic differential equations to develop numerical approaches for modeling random and deterministic phenomena in order to advance the development of engineering and economic applications.
Prof. Alexandra Galhano is an associate professor at the Faculdade de Ciências Naturais, Engenharias e Tecnologias, Universidade Lusófona do Porto, Porto, Portugal. She obtained an MSc in Applied Sciences—Telecommunications from the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium in 1979, and a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Porto in 1992. Prof. Alexandra Galhano’s research interests include systems modelling, dynamics, multidimensional scaling, and fractional calculus.
