Shahrukh Mushtaq is a PhD researcher and Associate Lecturer at Newcastle Business School. He holds a master’s degree in Business and Management from the University of Bedfordshire and has served in higher education institutions in Pakistan since 2014. Currently on study leave from the University of Kotli Azad Jammu and Kashmir, he is pursuing doctoral research focused on cybercrime mitigation within e-government services.
Dr. Shah is an Associate Professor in Information Management and Faculty Director (EDI) at Newcastle Business School. He has authored six textbooks and published over 50 peer-reviewed journal articles and 200 conference and magazine contributions. His teaching focuses on business analytics, digital business, strategic management, and research methods at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Dr. Shah has previously held academic positions at Coventry University, the University of Central Lancashire, Cranfield University, and the University of Hertfordshire. He has served as a consultant to UK online retailers and banks on e-banking management since 1999. His research interests include digital identity theft prevention and electronic banking, with publications in leading journals such as the European Journal of Information Systems and the International Journal of Information Management.
