Author Biographies

David W Nordstokke is an Associate Professor in the Werklund School of Education at the University of Calgary. He received his Ph.D. in 2009 from the University of British Columbia in Measurement, Evaluation, and Research Methodology. He teaches courses in the areas of measurement, research design, and statistical analysis. His research interests include Child and Adolescent Resilience, Mental Health in Educational Settings, Executive Functioning, Conative Factors, and Academic Success, School-Based Interventions for Emotional and Academic Development, Program Evaluation in Educational and Mental Health Contexts, and Collaborative and Interdisciplinary Research.
Yvonne Hindes received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Lethbridge and her Master's Degree and Ph.D. in School and Applied Child Psychology from the University of Calgary. She has taught at the University of Calgary, Yorkville University, and Athabasca University. She has taught courses in multiple areas-research, statistics, assessment, ADHD, mental health, and development- to students enrolled in online and on-campus graduate programs.
