Inês Neto da Silva is a Ph.D. candidate in the Doctoral Program in Human Sexuality at the University of Porto since September 2021, having been granted a Ph.D. scholarship by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT). She completed her Master’s degree in the Psychology of Deviant Behavior and Justice in 2020 at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto, and was granted a Merit Scholarship from the University of Porto for exceptional academic performance in the academic year of 2019/2020. She is involved in the Center for Psychology at the University of Porto (CPUP-UP), where she is currently developing research on inclusive sexual education that addresses disabled women’s needs. Her research interests include sexuality and disability, sexual citizenship, sexual and reproductive rights, independent living and sexual assistance, social inclusion, and intersectionality.
Ana Cristina Santos is a sociologist, with a Ph.D. in Gender Studies from the University of Leeds. She is currently Principal Researcher with Habilitation, Chair of the Democracy, Justice and Human Rights Thematic Line, and Co-director of the Sexualities Research Group at the Center for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra (CES-UC). She works on several research projects on LGBTQI+ issues, dissident embodiment, intimate citizenship, and queer aging.
Alexandra Oliveira holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Porto. She is a Professor at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto (FPCE-UP), where she teaches several courses on the psychology of justice and deviant behavior, human
sexuality, and diversity. She is also a Researcher at the Sexuality and Gender Research Group of the Center for Psychology of the University of Porto (CPUP-UP) and has produced extensive research on sex work, gender, sexuality, deviance, social reaction, and stigma.
