Dr. Guillermo Cano-Verdugo is a dental surgeon with a specialty in occupational health, a Master of Science in Public Health, and a Ph.D. in Nursing Science. He maintains a private clinical practice, providing comprehensive dental care to the general population.
He is affiliated with the Faculty of Dentistry at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, where he serves as an Adjunct Professor. Additionally, he is a visiting professor at the Universidad Científica del Sur in Lima, Peru.
His research lines are interdisciplinary in nature, and he collaborates regionally with various faculties of the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León and the Universidad de Montemorelos; nationally with the Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas, Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila, Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM), and Hospital Juárez de México; and internationally with the Universidad Científica del Sur and Universidad Nacional del Altiplano Puno in Peru, Complutense University of Madrid in Spain, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and the Colombian Association for Patients with Special Needs (ACOPNE) in Colombia, the Academic Center for Dentistry Amsterdam in the Netherlands, and Lagos State University in Nigeria.
