Myriam Isabel Masson Palacios is a full-time university professor at the School of Physiotherapy, Faculty of Medical Sciences of Health and Life Sciences of the International University of Ecuador (UIDE). She holds a degree in Physiotherapy from the Catholic University of Ecuador and a Master’s Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention from the University of Huelva, Spain. With over ten years of professional experience as a physical therapist and seven years of academic teaching, she has contributed to the development of future professionals in rehabilitation and physical health. At UIDE, she is responsible for coordinating pre-professional practices and is an active member of the Physical Activity and Health research group (AFISA). She previously served as a full-time faculty member in the Physiotherapy program at the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador (PUCE).
