Jingrui Zhang is an Associate Professor at Xiamen University. He studied at Huazhong University of Science and Technology from 2003 to 2007 and received his Bachelor's degree in 2007. He continued his studies at the same institution from 2007 to 2012 and was awarded a Ph.D. in 2012. From 2012 to 2015, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Xiamen University. Subsequently, from 2016 to 2017, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Instrument and Electrical Engineering at Xiamen University. Since August 2017, he has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Instrument and Electrical Engineering at Xiamen University. His research focuses on modelling and simulation, operation optimization, and decision analysis for complex systems including cascaded
hydropower systems, active distribution systems, microgrids, and unmanned systems.
