Xinyu Fan is currently working as a Lecturer at the School of Automation, Central South University (CSU). Xinyu Fan received a B.S. degree in automation, an M.D. degree in control engineering, and a PhD in control science and engineering from the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT), Beijing, China, in 2011, 2013, and 2019, respectively. Xinyu Fan visited the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) from 2016 to 2017 as a Visiting Scholar in
the School of Mechanical Engineering. His research interests include data mining and analysis and machine learning.
