Prof. Dr. Ling Liu is a Professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Hydrology and Water Resources at Hohai University. She received her doctoral degree from Hohai University.
She has won one first prize and one second prize each from the Dayu Water Conservancy Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Water Resources, one second prize from the Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, and was selected as a "Young and Middle-aged Academic Leader" for the Jiangsu Qinglan Project.
She has long been engaged in the research and assessment of water ecological status of the river basin, constructed the evaluation index system and evaluation method of ecological health of the river basin and rivers, and has evaluated the ecological status of major rivers in the Yangtze River Basin, the Taihu Lake Lake Basin, and the Huaihe River Basin for many years.
