Author Biographies

Dr. Shoaib Ahmed received his M.E. in Electrical Power Systems from NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, and his B.E. in Electrical Power Engineering from Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology (QUEST), Nawabshah, Pakistan. He is currently serving as a Lecturer at Sukkur IBA University. He is on permanent study leave to pursue his Ph.D. in Photovoltaics at the University of Basilicata, Potenza, Italy, within the Department of Engineering. His administrative institution for the Ph.D. program is the University of Salerno, as part of Italy’s National Ph.D. Program in Photovoltaics.Dr. Ahmed began his professional career in February 2013 as a Junior Engineer at Pak Oasis Industries (Pvt.) Ltd. in Karachi, where he worked for three years. He later transitioned into academia, serving as a Lab Engineer and Lecturer at various universities in Karachi, including Indus University, Preston University, and Hamdard University.He has published over 40 research articles in prominent national and international journals and conferences. His research interests include Electrical Power Distribution Systems, Energy Conservation, Renewable Energy Systems, Distributed Generation, and the Integration of Photovoltaics (PV), Electric Vehicles (EVs), and Energy Storage Systems (ESSs) in Microgrids and Renewable Energy Communities.
