Barbara Ziemba, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the Department of General Biophysics, University of Lodz, Poland. She holds a PhD in Biological Sciences with a specialization in Biophysics and an MSc in Biochemistry, both from the University of Lodz. Dr. Ziemba has over eighteen years of professional experience in academic research, focusing on the application of dendrimers and other nanocarriers in cancer therapy. She previously worked at the Medical University of Lodz as a Senior Specialist in the Department of Clinical Genetics, where she led or contributed to multiple scientific projects. Her research expertise spans molecular biology, cell culture, gene therapy, and nanomedicine. She is a recipient of several academic awards, including Rector’s Awards and recognition in the “Innovations in Medicine” competition.
