Tae-Im Heo currently works at the Baekdudaegan National Arboretum (BDNA), Korea Arboreta and Gardens Institute (KoAGl) of South Korea. As a researcher in the Forest Ecological Restoration Department, she conducts research projects on the restoration of damaged areas due to development and the recovery of forest fire-affected sites. She also conducts forest ecology research based on plant taxonomy. In addition, she is a board member of the Korean Society of Plant Taxonomy.
