Dasom Kim, RN, is a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) nurse at Keimyung University Dongsan Medical Center in Daegu, South Korea. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from the Graduate School of Keimyung University. Her clinical experience has been centered on providing critical care to pediatric patients with complex conditions. Her research interests include infection control, pediatric nursing, and the psychological and ethical aspects of nursing care in high-acuity settings. She is committed to advancing evidence-based nursing practice and continues to integrate clinical insight into academic inquiry.

Gaeun Kim, PhD, RN, is a professor in the College of Nursing at Keimyung University, South Korea. She earned her doctoral degree in nursing from Yonsei University and has accumulated over 15 years of academic and clinical experience, particularly in pediatric and critical care nursing. Her primary research interests include infection control practices, nursing ethics, end-of-life care, and healthcare workforce development. Dr. Kim currently serves as an associate editor for the Journal of Korean Academy of Nursing Science and actively participates in various academic and professional committees focused on advancing nursing education and practice.
