Luis Rolando Guarneros-Nolasco has a Ph.D. in Sciences from the Faculty of Sciences of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México. He has a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Instituto Tecnológico de Orizaba. From September 2022, he joined the Information Technologies educational program and the Master in Industrial Engineering in Advanced Manufacturing graduate program in September 2024 at Universidad Tecnológica del Centro de Veracruz Campus Cuitahuac. His research lines of interest are focused on the development of software using Nvidia graphics processing units (GPUs) to implement algorithms that allow the study of thermodynamic properties of biological systems, such as proteins, membranes, and polymers on a large scale for molecular dynamics, and the development of applications to perform studies, analysis, and presentation of results of the data obtained in molecular dynamics simulations, as well as the application of machine learning algorithms in the evaluation of molecular dynamics simulation models.
