Daniel Carlos Guimarães Pedronette received the BSc in Computer Science from the São Paulo State University (UNESP), Brazil, in 2005 and received the MSc and PhD degrees in Computer Science from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil, in 2008 and 2012. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Statistics, Applied Mathematics and Computing of São Paulo State University (UNESP) and a Collaborator Researcher at the Institute of Computing - UNICAMP. He also serves as an Associate Editor of the Pattern Recognition journal.
Bruno Tisseyre is Professor in viticulture at Montpellier SupAgro. He is Head of the Teaching Consortium AgroTIC, a Consortium that gathers 24 companies on digital agriculture, and Head of the observatory “Digital Mediterranean farm” (Mas numérique). The observatory gathers 15 companies in the same farm/wine domain. His research projects focus on the following: (i) spatial data fusion; (ii) segmentation and zoning; (iii) characterization of the spatial variability and assessment of the ability to manage the within-field variability (opportunity index of Site-specific management); (iv) spatial extrapolation (mainly in vine water status). In remote sensing, the research led to the release of a remote sensing commercial service specifically dedicated to viticulture (Oenoview) in collaboration with the Institut Cooperative du Vin and Airbus Defense and Space Company.
