Prof. Qijun Luo is a professor at the College of Oceanography at Ningbo University. He has obtained four national invention patents and is a director of the Algae Society. His research interests include marine environment restoration and ecology, cultivation and application of large algae germplasm, and protection of algae resources.
Prof. Rui Yang received a BS from Shandong Normal University in 1995, an MS from Ocean University of China in 1998, and a PhD from Ocean University of China in 2001. She was a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, from 2003 to 2009. She is an Associate Researcher at the Collaborative Innovation Center for Zhejiang Marine High-efficiency and Healthy Aquaculture, Ningbo University. She has obtained five authorized invention patents. Her research interests include genetic breeding of large seaweed, healthy algae cultivation and environmental restoration, and marine biodiversity.
