Yiwei Pan is a PhD candidate in the History and Theory of Landscape Architecture at the School of Architecture, Tianjin University and a visiting research student at the Department of Asian Studies, the University of British Columbia. His research interest includes the sacred landscape in Early Modern China, and the history and literature of traditional Chinese gardens. He is a committee member of the National Architecture Institute of China and a young committee member of Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture Theory and History Committee.
