Prof. Bin Liu is an Associate Professor at the School of
Physics and Optoelectronics, Xiangtan University. He completed his PhD studies
in Electronics at the University of Wollongong, Australia, and has been awarded
First Prize for an Excellent Paper at the Hunan Instrumentation Society Annual
Meeting and First Prize in a Teaching Competition at the School of Physics and
Optoelectronic Engineering, Xiangtan University, Xiangtan, China. He is a
postdoctoral fellow and visiting researcher at the University of Wollongong,
Australia. His research topics mainly include Optical Feedback Laser Dynamics
and Optical Feedback Interference Sensing, Optical Detection and Signal
Processing, Machine Learning and Optoelectronic Reserve Cell Computing,
Micro-Nano Sensor Design, and Embedded Hardware Design.
