Author Biographies

Agnė Beleckė received her Master's Degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU) in 2015, and is now pursuing a PhD in Veterinary Parasitology. She completed her residency in Veterinary Parasitology at LSMU from 2015 to 2017. In 2018, she joined Veterinary Academy Simulation Center at LSMU - Deputy Head of the Centre. Her research topics mainly include: veterinary parasitology, anthelmintic resistance, gastrointestinal nematodes, and veterinary education.
Dr. Tomas Kupčinskas is a veterinary parasitologist at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, Veterinary Academy. His work focuses on anthelmintic resistance and the control of gastrointestinal nematodes in sheep. He has 13 years of experience as a researcher in parasitic and infectious diseases and as a practicing veterinarian working with small animals, swine, and small ruminants. He teaches infectious disease prevention and supervises master’s theses in veterinary medicine. His research interests include zoonoses and parasitological studies of small ruminants. He has completed internships in Slovakia and Estonia.
