Dr.Zaure Dushimova graduated from the Pediatric Faculty of the Almaty State Medical Institute (ASMI) in 1995. From 1989 to 1993, she studied at the Leningrad State Pediatric Medical Institute. From 1995 to 1997, she completed a clinical residency at the Scientific Center for Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery (NCP and PS) specializing in "Pediatrics with advanced study in Gastroenterology." From 1997 to 2002, she pursued PhD studies at NCP and PS, and in 2003, she defended her dissertation, obtaining the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences in the specialty 14.00.09 – Pediatrics. Since 2002, Dr. Dushimova has been employed in the Department of Oncohematology at NCP and PS. In 2007, she was appointed Head of the Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory at NCP and PS. In 2009, she assumed the role of Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs at NCP and PS. Since 2011, she has been a Research affiliate at the Central Asian Forum, Jesus College, University of Cambridge, UK. Since 2018, she has served as Head of the International Department at the Kazakh Scientific Research Institute of Oncology and Radiology. From 2019 to 2022, she held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Board for Scientific and Strategic Work at JSC KazIOR. Additionally, she has worked as a faculty member at the Department of Pediatrics and the Department of Oncology at the S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University (KazNMU).
