An archaeologist and professor of Medieval History at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, he holds a PhD in History from the same university with the dissertation The Fortifications of the Campo de Montiel (8th-16th centuries): History, Archaeology, and Construction Analysis. He is affiliated with the Laboratory of Archaeology, Heritage, and Emerging Technologies at the University of Castilla-La Mancha.
