Artem Marchenkov (born in 1989), Ph.D., is materials science specialist with extensive expertise in technical diagnostics and microstructure analysis of metallic materials. Since 2021, he has served as the Head of the Operational Diagnostics of Structural Materials' Mechanical Properties R&D Laboratory and as an Associate Professor in the Metals Technology Department at the Moscow Power Engineering Institute. Dr. Marchenkov brings over 15 years of professional experience in the field, including 11 years of tutoring experience. He is the author of more than 200 publications, holds 8 Russian patents for inventions, and has written one monograph and five student textbooks. He currently leads two active R&D teams. His research interests include mechanical testing, express diagnostics, indentation methods, and non-destructive testing.
