Dr. Diego Maffeo received his degree in Medicine and Surgery
from the University of Brescia in 2006, where he also completed his
specialization in Cardiology in 2010. Since 2006, he has been a registered
member of the Order of Doctors and Dentists of the Province of Brescia. Dr.
Maffeo has extensive experience in interventional cardiology. He served as
Medical Director at the Hemodynamics Service of the Civil Hospitals of Brescia
from 2010 to 2014 and in similar roles at the Desenzano del Garda Hospital
and the Sant’Anna Clinical Institute. Since 2012, he has been practicing at the
Hemodynamics Service of the Istituto Clinico Fondazione Poliambulanza in
Brescia, where he currently serves as Head of the Simple Hemodynamics Unit, a
role he has held since 2019. He was a member of the Scientific Committee of
GISE Lombardia from 2016 to 2017 and served as Quality Referent for the
Hemodynamics Service at Poliambulanza from 2014 to 2019. His work focuses on
interventional cardiology and quality improvement in clinical practice.
