Muhammad Ikram received his master’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Peshawar, Pakistan in 2019 and is now pursuing a Doctor of Engineering in Electrical Power Engineering at Edith Cowan University, Australia. His research interests mainly include hybrid power plants, futuristic ancillary services, multi-agent control, deep reinforcement learning, and distributed control. His work aims to enhance power system stability and optimization using multi-agent and deep reinforcement learning techniques.
Professor Daryuosh Habibi is a distinguished researcher with extensive experience in academia and industry. He is the Head of the Centre for Green and Smart Energy Systems. Previously, he served as Head of School, Pro Vice-Chancellor, and Executive Dean of Engineering at ECU, driving significant growth in student numbers and research impact. His industry experience includes Telstra Research Laboratories and Intelligent Pixels Inc. He has supervised over forty PhD candidates and holds a PhD and BE (Hons.) from the University of Tasmania. His research focuses on renewable energy, smart grids, and environmental monitoring.
Dr Asma Aziz is a Senior Lecturer in Power Engineering at the School of Engineering at Edith Cowan University, Perth, Australia. She received her PhD degree in Engineering from Deakin University, Australia, in 2017. Her research interests are dedicated to the aspects of the modern, smart, and sustainable power systems, comprising suitable modelling of systems to support the sustainability and reliability of electrical networks.
