Prof. Jinhui Wu is Professor at the Center for Quantum Sciences and School of Physics, Northeast Normal University. He received his Ph.D. degree from the College of Physics, Jilin University. He is mainly engaged in basic research in the fields of quantum optics, quantum information and related interdisciplinary subjects, including atomic coherence effects caused by incoherent processes such as spontaneous radiation, quantum interference effects in semiconductor quantum well materials, dynamic generation and coherent control of photonic bandgap structures and stationary weak light signals, reversible quantum information storage and polarization-encoded quantum logic operations, quantum manipulation based on dipole blockade effects between Rydberg atoms, and optimal control of ultracold atom-assisted hybrid quantum optomechanical systems.
