Dr. Cristian Rusu received a B.S. in electronics in 1984 and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering (applied informatics) in 2002 from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He has worked in several software companies and research institutes in Romania and Chile. Since 2002, he has been fully dedicated to academia. He has been a full professor at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (PUCV) in Chile since 2010. His research interests focus on human–computer interaction (HCI), User Experience, Customer Experience, and Service Science. He was the chair of the Chilean ACMSIGCHI Chapter and vice-chair of the ACM SIGCHI Valparaiso Chapter.
