Dr. Rob Sillevis is an Associate
Professor and Chair in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at Florida
Gulf Coast University. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
from the Hogeschool Heerlen in The Netherlands. In 2003, He completed his
Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of St. Augustine. He also
completed his manual therapy (MTC), primary care (PCC), and cranio-fascial,
neck, and head pain (CFC). In 2008, he received his PhD from NOVA South Eastern
University. He completed the Manual Therapy Fellowship program at Regis
University and the orthopedic (OCS) certification in 2008. In 2017 he completed
a certification in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Imaging. Dr. Sillevis’s research
interests include the effects of physical therapy interventions on the central
nervous system, the effect and benefit of audible pop, and cervicogenic
headache. He has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association
since 1995, the North American Spine Society since 2002, and the American
Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists since 2006.
