Carlos Ravelo is a project manager and R&D engineer at 5G Communications for Future Industry Verticals. He received his B.S. degree from the Superior Polytechnic Institute of Havana in 2015. From 2021 to 2024, he was an Early-Stage Researcher within the MSCA project ITN-5VC. He is currently pursuing his PhD in telecommunications from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. His research interests include integrated sensing and communications, mobile networks, and vehicular communications.
Pablo Trelis received his Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de València in 2021, and he later completed his Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering in 2024. He currently works as a full-stack developer, specializing in modern web development, with experience in front-end and back-end technologies, and a focus on building scalable and efficient digital solutions that integrate his strong background in telecommunications with software engineering practices.
Dr. Manuel Fuentes received a M.Sc. degree in telecommunication engineering and a second M.Sc. degree in communication technologies, systems, and networks from the Universitat Politecnica de Valencia (UPV), Spain, in 2012 and 2013, respectively, and a Ph.D. degree (Hons.) in telecommunication engineering, in 2017. In 2012-2017 and 2018-2020, he was with the Institute of Telecommunications and Multimedia Applications (iTEAM) from UPV. He was also a guest researcher at the Vienna University of Technology, Austria, in 2016. In 2017-2018, Dr. Fuentes worked with the Samsung Electronics R&D UK team as a 5G research engineer. In September 2020, Dr. Fuentes joined Fivecomm as an R&D Manager, where he led the team in different H2020 European 5G/IoT related projects. Currently, he is the CTO of the company, where he focuses on product development, research, and innovation. He is co-author of 20+ international journals and conferences. His main areas of interest include physical layer and radio procedures, 5G/IoT integration and development, 5G RAN, and 5GC, as well as Beyond-5G and 6G communications.
