Dr. Andrés Fontalba-Navas is Director of the Mental Health Unit at Antequera Hospital, Northern Málaga Integrated Healthcare Area. Previously, he served as Deputy Medical Director (2017–2023) and as Coordinator of Mental Health (2009–2017).Currently, Dr. Fontalba-Navas is also Vice-Dean for Relations with Healthcare Institutions and Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Málaga. His primary research interests include Psychiatry, Clinical Management, Epidemiology, qualitative research methodologies applied to health promotion, and the innovative use of artificial intelligence in healthcare.
Ruth Echeverría holds a degree in Physics from the Complutense University of Madrid, a Master's degree in Biomedical Physics from the same institution, and a PhD in Clinical Medicine and Public Health from the University of Granada. Throughout her career, she has focused on two key areas: researching the effects of persistent environmental pollutants on human health and managing education, outreach, and research projects. She is currently a researcher in the ToxicBody research network at the University of Barcelona and a member of the Cardiovascular Imaging Research Group at the Hospital 12 de Octubre Health Research Institute (imas12). She holds the position of Research Manager in the Department of Cardiology at the Hospital 12 de Octubre in Madrid, where she actively participates in competitive research projects at both national and European levels.
Dr. Juan Pedro Arrebola currently works as a Full Professor and Researcher at the Preventive Medicine and Public Health / Medicina Preventiva y Salud Pública, Universidad de Granada. He received his Degree in Pharmacy at Universidad de Granada and completed his Ph.D. in Epidemiology and Public Health at Universidad de Granada. His research interests mainly include endocrine disruption, environmental pollutants, and environmental epidemiology.
